You don’t need a full outfit change to go from a day at the office to dinner or drinks afterwards. Often it’s the accessories, not the clothes, that do the work of making an outfit feel more polished for the evening.

Swapping a casual fabric belt for a leather one is one of the simplest changes you can make. A dark brown or black leather belt with a clean buckle instantly reads as more put-together, and it’s a five-second change before you head out the door.
Your wallet matters more than people think, too, especially if you’re paying for a round of drinks in front of company. A slim, handmade leather wallet looks and feels better in hand than a bulky, worn one, and it takes up far less space in a jacket pocket.
None of this requires buying a new wardrobe for evenings out. A couple of well-made leather pieces, chosen once and looked after properly, will carry you from a 9-to-5 to a night out for years to come.
